April 15, 2021 Update: BlackBoard Collaborate will be discontinued at Western on July 31st, 2021. Users will still be able to access Blackboard Collaborate (including recordings) in any previous OWL sites until discontinuation on July 31st, 2021.

Blackboard Collaborate is a collaborative, interactive learning environment that supports both synchronous (live) and asynchronous (recordings) learning experiences and multiple learning styles. It can be used for online, blended, and flipped learning, including individual and group activities. Collaborate is available through Western's Learning Management System (OWL)
