Auto Attendant Upgrade for Western's Main Phone Number
The auto attendant or interactive voice recognition (IVR) software for Western's main university phone number 519 661-2111 was upgraded on May 12.
Western's main number has had been voice-enabled since October, 2016. The new auto attendant voice that you now interact with may sound slightly different to you but the functionality of the system remains the same. You can either say the first and last name of the person or the name of the department that you wish to speak to and have your call automatically transferred. And, as always, you can still dial the extension if you know it.
