Renewing your Software
How to access the renewal instructions for 2023-24 (no re-install is required even if your license has expired):
- sign in @ software.uwo.ca (using your Western credentials)
- select SAS then the release you need renewed (in right sidebar)
- read and accept Western's site license end user agreement
- select your faculty
- download/extract the zipped folder to your system (this may happen automatically)
- open the appropriate folder then follow the renewal instructions
NOTE! SAS must be completely removed from your system once you have left Western University.
Installation
To learn about SAS 9.4 (Win OS only) install kit options, send an email (sitelic@uwo.ca) and include your name, your Western email address, and your system's OS details (i.e. Win OS 64-bit). You will receive a reply within two business days with more information. For its system requirements, visit https://support.sas.com/supportos/list
NOTE! SAS must be completely removed from your system once you have left Western University.
Network Installs
Annual licenses for SAS 9.4 Server (Windows 64-bit only) are available for a fee (per CPU). If you would like to learn more about a network setup, email us at sitelic@uwo.ca.
