iClicker Cloud Accessibility Update: Version 8.0.0 Required by July 1, 2026

What’s Changing
To ensure continued reliability and compatibility, the minimum supported version of iClicker Cloud instructor desktop software will be updated to version 8.0.0, effective July 1, 2026.
If instructors are currently using an older version, they will need to update before this date to continue using the desktop application without issues.
What’s New in Version 8.0.0
Released in December 2025, version 8.0.0 introduces several important improvements:
- Enhanced accessibility
- Support for screen readers
- Improved keyboard navigation
- Better system compatibility
- Optimized performance on the latest Windows and macOS versions
- Mac requirement: macOS 12 or newer
These updates help ensure a more inclusive and stable experience for both instructors and students.

What Instructors Need to Do
If instructors use iClicker on their personal computer, they can download the latest version from the official iClicker Cloud page.
For Administrators & Classroom Computers
If managing classroom machines, administrators can download the MSI installer for iClicker Cloud 8.0.0 to update and image devices ahead of the July 1, 2026, deadline.
This ensures all teaching spaces remain ready for use ahead of the July deadline.
