Microsoft 365 Installation Guide

The Microsoft Campus Agreement provides eligible students, faculty and staff access to the standard Microsoft 365 suite.

The following supported applications will be installed: 

  • Word
  • Excel
  • Powerpoint
  • Outlook
  • OneNote
  • OneDrive
  • Teams

Installation Steps

  • Open a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) on your PC or Mac
  • Go to MyOffice.uwo.ca and sign in with your Western email address
  • Select the "Install Apps" option from the top right of the welcome page and select "Microsoft 365 Apps"
  • Select "Install Office" to download the installer
  • Run the Office installer
  • When the installation is complete and you've signed in with your Western account, a license is associated with that device
