The Microsoft Campus Agreement provides eligible students, faculty and staff access to the standard Office 365 suite for Windows or Mac.

Eligible accounts are licensed for up to 5 active Office installations
Office installations on your work devices count towards the license limit
Office applications on iOS and Android devices do not count towards the license limit

Office 365 is fully available online without installation to all Western staff, faculty, and students.
Go to https://wts.uwo.ca/office_365/index.html and sign in with your Western email address
All the Office 365 apps are available on the left side bar.

Go to https://wts.uwo.ca/office_365/index.html and sign in with your Western email address
Select the Install Office option from the top right of the welcome page to download the Office installer
Run the Office installer
When the installation is complete and you've signed in with your Western account, a license is associated with that device

Through Western’s Campus Agreement, departments may purchase subscriptions of Microsoft 365 Copilot on behalf of their faculty and staff.

Students can access Copilot by visiting copilot.microsoft.com and logging in with their student credentials. This ensures they are fully protected under Western’s Microsoft agreement and tenant.

Through Western’s Campus Agreement, departments may purchase subscriptions of Microsoft Power BI annually on behalf of their faculty and staff.

Requests to purchase Microsoft Project should be sent through JIRA: https://westernu.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1057
There is no student edition of Power BI available.
A free (limited) version is also available. Please use the JIRA link above to request it.
