Q: How do I get a license for MATLAB or renew my current license?
A: Follow the install/renewal instructions.
Q: Do I need to create a MathWorks account?
A: Yes, this is a requirement of this campus licensing program.
Q: Do I have to use my Western "userid@uwo.ca" email address?
A: Yes, this email address is used to authenticate your access to MATLAB.
Q: What MATLAB products and toolboxes do I have access to?
A: A list of the current products are listed in your MathWorks account.
Q: What should I do when I leave Western University?
A: Your MATLAB software will have to be completely removed or deactivated.
Q: What if my role means I will be installing MATLAB on more than just my computer?
A: You will have an option to select someone else when activating the software.
Q: What if I need something other than an individual MATLAB license?
A: Send your MATLAB installation and/or renewal requests to sitelic@uwo.ca.
