Office Professional for Mac - 2019
Please note the following before you begin:
- Mac Office 2019 only installs as 64 bit
- The Mac Installer is the same for Office for Mac (O365) and Office 2019 for Mac (VL).
- Please note that our license does not include Project or Visio. There may be options for you to include these packages in your download but you are not licensed to use them. You must buy separate licenses.
Download & Install
You have two choices for downloading and installing Office 2019 for Mac:
- CHOICE 1 - Download the Office installer from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/mac/deployment-options-for-office-for-mac
- CHOICE 2 - Log into https://myoffice.uwo.ca and install Office 2019 for Mac via the options presented
Activation
How you activate Office is determined by whether it is installed as Office for Mac (O365) or Office 2019 for Mac (VL).
- To activate Office for Mac (O365) :
- Sign into the account section using your Western email address and password.
- Office will now be activated as O365 and will add one system to your license count.
- To activate Office 2019 for Mac (VL):
- Download the Volume Serializer from the Volume License Servicing Center (VLSC).
- Run the package.
- Note: you must use the 2019 version. The old 2016 serializer will not work.
