Accessing Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is available by opening a browser and signing into Western's Office 365 and choosing Teams, or through a desktop app which is available for download For mobile devices - please visit your particular app store.

Note: Teams preview won't open in the Safari browser without changing the browser settings. Mac users will need to use another browser such as Chrome or Firefox, or download the Teams desktop app.

Retention for Teams

If a chat or channel message is edited or delete, it is permanently deleted within 24 hours.
An external user (using a guest account) is subject to the same policy as internal users.
Teams messages in private channels are not retained
Likes and other reactions are not retained for Teams chat and channel messages.
