Laserfiche
Laserfiche is a final document management tool (not a document version control system). It is used to manage the flow of documents through their workflow lifecycle.
Eligible Users: Departments or Faculty Administration units are able to request the creation of a repository which requires them to provide details of the use case. Once granted the unit then grant access to staff or faculty.
Costs: Certain features require the unit to acquire feature licensing and compatible scanner hardware if not using Toshiba MFD.
Access options: Desktop application or via a web browser
Permission controls: Managed by the repository administrator
File submissions: Controlled by the process managed by the repository administrator
Security features: Repository encryption (DOD certified)
