AV Bridge

The A/V Bridge allows presenters to connect a laptop directly to the room’s camera and microphone systems. The A/V Bridge enables lecture capture and virtual conferencing with the enhanced audio and video quality provided by the classroom's integrated technology.

Presenters may connect their own devices and equipment in General University teaching and presentation spaces equipped with Classroom Technology Group-managed audiovisual systems. 
Cameras

Cameras

While the Classroom Technology Group strives to provide a consistent experience across General University classrooms, camera systems and capabilities may vary between venues. Each room is equipped with a specfic camera configuration, unique to the venue. To ensure a smooth and effective presentation experience, presenters are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the specific audiovisual features and camera functionality available in their assigned room well in advance of their lecture, meeting, or event.
Control Systems

The A/V control interface in General University classrooms provides control over the room’s audiovisual technology. the control interface allows presenters to power the system on or off, adjust audio levels, manage source routing, and control displayed content. 
Microphones

Microphones

General University classrooms are equipped with a wireless microphone to support voice reinforcement within the room. Each microphone is uniquely configured for its assigned classroom and will operate only in that specific location. In addition to providing audio through the room’s speaker system, the microphone audio is routed to the classroom Rack PC to support lecture capture or virtual conferencing applications.

Rack PC

The Rack-PC is located in the AV rack in most G.U Classrooms; it is fully integrated with the classroom AV system. The supported environment is the Windows 10/64-bit operating system and this includes a baseline repository of software applications.
