Getting Started

Creating your new website in the latest Western design provides more modern and feature rich content creation in Cascade.

*Important Notes for existing Cascade sites using the 2017 and earlier design:

• The latest Western Web Design cannot be applied in place to existing Cascade sites using 2017 and earlier designs.
• Site managers will need to re-create all of their content in a new blank site space. 
• Do not copy existing pages/content in your current 2017 or older site to your new 2025 site. Your old site and contents will be deleted once the new site is published.
• If you have an existing site in Cascade with the earlier design, please provide the site name in the Site Description section on the form. 

If you are ready to create a new website in Cascade in the latest Western design:

Make sure that you have the following information ready:

• Western Identities for anyone needing to create, edit or publish your new website.
• Name and email address of the person who will primarily be responsible for the site (i.e. the site manager)
• Basic information about the site including a brief description, a site map, which web server the site will publish to and the public facing name of the website.

When you have compiled the above information:
