The installation of antivirus software on a Western-owned computer is required as a necessary component of the defense-in-depth approach to protecting data in our environment.

The OfficeScan software is purchased and maintained by Western's central administration for Western faculty/departmental computer systems. Costs for use on Affiliate or Ancillary unit computers can be found in the WTS Services Document.
