Increase in Compromised Email Accounts Due to Phishing
WTS's Security team has identified an increase in the number of Western email accounts that have been compromised due to the owners responding to phishing or scam emails.
Always check the validity of emails from senders you know and use extra caution when dealing with emails from senders you do not know. This includes emails that have been sent from @uwo.ca addresses.
