Western Atlassian applications migrating to the cloud

Jira Service Desk (Service Management), Jira Software and Confluence (Kiwi) are scheduled to be migrated to the cloud beginning July 8. This migration will provide an improved user experience, while maintaining a familiar look and feel.

Beginning at 5 p.m. on July 8, Western faculty, staff and students will be unable to create Jira tickets for the WTS Helpdesk.  The migration is expected to take until 8 a.m. on July 11 to complete.

WTS Helpdesk phones will remain available at 519 661-3800  during the migration period for anyone needing assistance.  The hours of operation for the migration period are:

  • Friday night from 5 - 10 p.m.
  • Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
