Western Remote Office Access Management System
The Ivanti WROAMS client has been replaced with Fortinet.
Access to WROAMS using Ivanti will be available until October 20th. All existing users have been migrated to the new Fortinet environment - more information on using Fortinet for WROAMS access can be found at WROAMS - Fortinet.
WTS provides secure remote access to resources on campus via the Internet.
This access is currently limited to Western Staff and Faculty members and NON-Western Support entities
only.
Login
Western Faculty and Staff use either "UWO" or "WesternU-MFA" realms to login.
NON-Western Support entities use "External Partners" realm to login
Introduction to the VPN client:
The Ivanti Secure Access Client (formerly Pulse Secure) offers a more convenient way to establish a connection from off-campus to Western's network.
The Ivanti Secure Access Client client is available for:
- For MacIntosh, Linux (RPM, DEB, RHEL) and Windows platforms, Client Downloads -> WROAMs Client Downloads.
- For IOS (iphones, ipads) devices, please visit the Apple store and search for Ivanti Secure Access Client.
- For Android devices, please visit the Google Play store and search for Ivanti Secure Access Client.
Before upgrading the device operating system, check the Supported Platforms guide for compatibility.
Changes:
Pulse Secure Client is re-branded as Ivanti Secure Access Client. There is also an option to switch between the Classic UI and New-UI to maintain user experience. The Pulse Secure client icon is replaced by Ivanti Secure Access Client icon
