Kiwi

Kiwi is a collaboration wiki tool used to help teams to collaborate and share knowledge efficiently. 

Kiwi is a powerful collaborative editor which can be used to create meeting notes, project plans, product requirements, at the same time as other users are editing which allows you to see all the changes at once.

In Kiwi, content is created and organized using spaces, pages, and blogs. The built-in collaboration tools allow users to write, edit, comment and get work done together within the wiki-style interface.

What is a Wiki?

Wiki is a collaborative documentation repository that can be edited simultaneously by all members.

Wiki is a derivative from the wiki wiki Hawaiian expression, which means "very quick".

How Do I Request a Kiwi Space?

The Kiwi space creation process is managed by the Western Technology Services. You can submit your request by using the Request a New Kiwi Space form.

  • Speed Code
  • Kiwi Space Name
  • Kiwi Space Key
  • Purpose
  • Kiwi Space Administrators
  • Kiwi Space Standard Access Users
  • Kiwi Space Limited Access Users

Your request will be processed within two business days.

How Do I Add or Remove Participants to a Kiwi Space?

The Kiwi space participants are managed by the Western Technology Services. You can request any changes to your Kiwi's space participants by using the Manage Kiwi Members form.

Please provide the Western User ID (e.g. jsmith423) of the participants you want to add to your Kiwi space.

Your request will be processed within two business days.

How Do I Remove a Kiwi Space?

The Kiwi space deletion process is managed by the Western Technology Services. You can submit your request by using the Remove a Kiwi Space form.

This request must be done by the Owner(s) of the Kiwi space. Once deleted, a Kiwi space cannot be recovered.

Your request will be processed within two business days.

Is there a cost for a Kiwi space?

Yes, Kiwi is a billable service.

In order to cover operational costs, the Western Technology Services has set the cost to $15 per Kiwi space per month, limited to 2GB of storage. 

Disk space used in excess of 2 GB will be charged at:

  • Internal:  $0.06 per GB/month
  • Affiliate:  $0.12 per GB/month
