Service Description

The WISG Team provides application support for Laserfiche, a document and records management platform offering secure document storage, workflow automation, and streamlined business processes. This includes installation, upgrades, and support for all Laserfiche repositories at Western, including those used by Human Resources, Finance, Facilities Management, Institutional Planning and Budgeting, Registrar's Office, and more. The WISG Team handles:

  • System installation and upgrades to ensure repositories remain secure, stable, and up to date
  • Technical support for repository infrastructure, including database management, configuration, and performance tuning
  • License management for repository administrators across all units
  • Integration support to help connect Laserfiche with other Western systems
  • Business analysis to assist units in optimizing workflows and aligning Laserfiche functionality with operational needs Team provides support and licience management for the repository administrators. Repository Administrators within each faculty or department are responsible for day-to-day user support, workflow configuration, and resolving front-line issues
