This service provides secure web-based single sign-on (SSO) using Shibboleth technology. It enables users to authenticate once with their Western credentials and gain access to multiple supported applications without repeated logins. The service supports federated authentication and is commonly used for web applications requiring secure, standards-based identity management.

• To request, submit a Jira ticket to WTS Operations.
• All requests must be approved by WTS leadership before implementation.

Requests for the addition of SSO must be approved by appropriate leadership and applications must complete the Technology Risk Assessment Process (TRAC) before they can be implemented.
