Service Description
This service provides VoIP phone functionality through software rather than a physical desk phone. Using Jabber, users can place and receive calls over the campus network or remotely, using a headset or mobile device. The service supports flexible work arrangements while maintaining access to business phone features.

To request, contact:
- your Departmental Telecom coordinator.
- the WTS Helpdesk.
What You Need To Use The Service
Requires:
- Western's department number, listed on Western Directory and already attached to a physical phone;
- Western Identity for Jabber profile setup;
- Western's UCCX Call Centers - agent or supervisor extension number.
