Service Description
The Security Operations Team (SOC) actively monitors industry and partner alerts for vulnerabilities that may threaten Western's systems. In addition, the SOC performs ongoing vulnerability scanning to identify weaknesses. On request, they can provide:
- Vulnerability scanning for individual devices or entire network segments (CIDR blocks)
- Reports detailing discovered vulnerabilities
- Severity rankings and recommended mitigation steps These assessments help units proactively address security issues and maintain a strong defensive posture.
How to Request or Use the Service
To request vulnerability management:
- Please email the WTS Security Operations Team or
- Submit a ticket to the WTS Helpdesk
