Service Description

While most new system deployments at Western University use Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), WTS also offers custom development services to meet unique institutional needs. These services include:

  • Application-specific development (e.g., RAMP, Purple Pay)
  • System integrations
  • Full system development from scratch Before starting any project, WTS collaborates with the appropriate business owner (e.g., Finance for Purple Pay) and reviews existing system functionality to ensure alignment and efficiency. Development is primarily done using Java, an open-source platform, but our teams also have expertise in other languages such as Python and PowerShell.
