Changing Contact Information on a Service Identity

The following instructions are to assist in updating the SI Contact without the assistance from WTS.  Refer to additional unit responsibilities of an SI Contact.

Steps to Add an SI Contact

  1. Log in to Western Identity Manager using your personal credentials.
  2. From the menu bar select Service Identities
  3. Find the account(s) you would like to activate by searching by User ID. To list all your accounts just click the Search button. 
  4. Place a check mark beside each of the accounts you would like to activate and select the Change Contact button from the bottom.
  5. A summary of all the SI's you selected will appear alisted under User IDs.  Enter a valid user id with HR role in Contact
  6. Click the Add & Submit buttons
  7. A results page will display each User ID selected. You may download these results by selecting Export to CSV. Otherwise you may log out or continue with other processes.

 

Steps to Delete an SI Contact

Note you can only perform bulk removal of an SI Contacts so long as they are a contact on all SI's you have selected.  If you are looking to transfer ownership from yourself to someone else you will need to setup DUO MFA profile and add them as an SI Contact first, before removing yourself.

Given the nature of this access we also recommend that the password be changed if removing ownership from someone to ensure they no longer have access to mailbox messages or any additional services the SI has access to.

  1. Log in to Western Identity Manager using your personal credentials.
  2. From the menu bar select Service Identities
  3. Find the account(s) you would like to activate by searching by User ID. To list all your accounts just click the Search button. 
  4. Place a check mark beside each of the accounts you would like to activate and select the Change Contact button from the bottom.
  5. A summary of all the SI's you selected will appear alisted under User IDs.  Enter a valid user id with HR role in Contact
  6. Click the Delete (trash can icon) & Submit buttons
  7. A results page will display each User ID selected. You may download these results by selecting Export to CSV. Otherwise you may log out or continue with other processes.
