Activating a Service Identity
Introduction
Either owner of the Service Identity can activate the account by using Western Identity Manager. The steps are described below.
Steps
- Log in to Western Identity Manager using your personal credentials.
- From the menu bar select Service Identities
- Find the account(s) you would like to activate by searching by User ID. To list all your accounts just click the Search button.
- Place a check mark beside each of the accounts you would like to activate and select the Activate button from the bottom.
- If you agree, place a check mark beside "I Agree" and click Activate.
- A results page will display each User ID selected for activation and the associated randomly generated password. You may download these results by selecting Export to CSV. Otherwise you may log out or continue with other processes.
